2 Chainz Reveals ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ Album Cover

2 Chainz goes for a high fashion trap house look with his Pretty Girls Like Trap Music album cover.

After finally revealing the June 16 release date, 2 Chainz is showing us the cover for his fourth studio album.

The cover was created by his new friend and designer Trouble Andrew of GUCCHIHOST fame. 2 Chainz calls the album and art a “street artistic expression.”

The design is effective. It speaks directly to the title with the pink background and pink trap house emphasizing the “pretty” aesthetic. The universal “like” icon taking the place of the actual word speaks to the younger generation. The most impressive element of the cover is how the color scheme allows for 2 Chainz‘ name and the word “trap” to be the main focus from afar.

Now, does it “look” good? That’s up for debate. The odd placing of the tornado and green eye in the sky definitely makes the cover look amateur or just weird. Having three different fonts on one cover is usually a no-no, but judging from Trouble Andrew‘s work, he doesn’t take conventional methods into consideration often.

Here There Be Dragons: The Official Game Of Thrones Season 7 Trailer Has Dropped [VIDEO]

HBO is doing a wonderful, and maddening, job of teasing Season 7 of Game Of Thrones. Today (May 24), we finally get a proper trailer.

Cersei Lannister sets things off talking out the side of her neck, as usual, about all the enemies around her and how she and Jamie are the only Lannisters left that count.

Tyrion will surely beg to differ and we also get shots of Jon “The King of the North” Snow, his annoying sister (that would be Sansa Stark), the cool sister (that would be Arya Stark) and more (even cornball Reek is still around).

No White Walkers or the Knight’s King, yet. But we do see Dothraki handing out fades and that Drogon has become quite the sizeable dragon.

Game Of Thrones season 7, and The Great War, kicks off on July 16

Can’t, wait. Watch the trailer below.

Uncle Ben Carson Calls Poverty A “State Of Mind,” Twitter Says GTFOH

Uncle Ben Carson, token Negro of the Cheeto Trump cabinet was heard talking today (May 24), and that was unfortunate. The housing and urban development secretary said that poverty is essentially a “state of mind.”

Carson told this foolishness to Armstrong Williams on SiriusXM Radio.

“I think poverty to a large extent is also a state of mind,” said Carson. “You take somebody that has the right mindset, you can take everything from them and put them on the street, and I guarantee in a little while they’ll be right back up there.”

We’re going to assume Carson meant working a 9 to 5 instead of flipping birds, but that’s neither here nor there.

He did add, “And you take somebody with the wrong mindset, you can give them everything in the world, they’ll work their way right back down to the bottom.”

Thank you captain obvious. But what of a kid born into poverty? Will thinking happy thoughts put a hot meal in their stomach? Will mind power will aways systemic racism?

This is where we remind you that Carson referred to African slaves as “immigrants.”

Needless to say, Twitter was quick to point out how tone deaf and asinine Carson’s commentary was. See the best of it below and on the following pages.
