Alleged Gang Member Got Penis Blown Off During Shooting

A shootout in Downtown Brooklyn between two men from rival crews left a gang member without, well, his member.

According to DNAInfo the penis of alleged gang member Tysheen Gott fell victim to gunfire that erupted inside of Rico Chimi Restaurant in Woodhaven Queens back in 2015.So far the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office

So far, the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office has hit nine members of the Ocean Hill Houses Loot Gang with a 69-count indictment for murder, attempted murder, gang assault, gun possession, and conspiracy amongst other crimes.

Kind of ironic that a man loses his penis to gang violence and the alleged assailants get hit with a 69-count indictment, but we digress.

To his credit (in some circles), Gott (who wasn’t charged) did not cooperate with investigators even though he was allegedly shot five times by 25-year-old Dylan Cruz inside the fast-food joint.

However, a video released of the shooting shows the moment of the incident and reveals that Gott pulled an innocent bystander into the mix to use as a human shield. The woman was struck with three bullets meant for Gott.

The blood feud between the two rival crews has so far left 1 dead and 13 people injured.

The lone death came in August 12 of 2016 when 22-year-old John Jay college student Terrell Henry was killed in Bushwick after gunman Qunicy Vital took him for a rival gang member due to the color of his shorts.

While police in Brooklyn continue to make arrests related to gang violence it’s done little to keep the beef from cooking during the hot summer months as social media has provided a platform for the rivals to continuously taunt each other.

To date police have arrested more than a dozen members of both the Loot Gang and their rivals, the Bushwick-based crew True Bosses Only.

Butch Jones: Tennessee’s use of slogan ‘blown out of proportion’

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee coach Butch Jones has heard the criticism over his use of slogans and catchphrases, from calling last year's seniors ''champions of life'' to describing his pursuit of recruits possessing ''five-star hearts.''

But he doesn't plan to change his approach and wonders why his program gets singled out in this regard.

''Every coach has those,'' Jones said Sunday at Tennessee's media day. ''For some reason at Tennessee, I think it's all kind of blown out of proportion because that's the one topic to talk about. … Every football program has those. It's a way to get the attention of your program. We haven't been any different. I think it's been grossly over-talked about.''

Indeed, the San Francisco 49ers have put out videos this summer titled ''Brick by Brick,'' the same slogan Jones used before his first season at Tennessee, in 2013. Ohio State coach Urban Meyer recently talked about how great organizations ''own it,'' the same words Tennessee used as its team motto last year.

But the timing of some of Jones' comments has led to scrutiny.

Two days after Tennessee was eliminated from contention for the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division championship last year, Jones praised his seniors and said ''they've won the biggest championship – and that's the championship of life.'' Jones' comment immediately turned into an internet meme – and then got even more scrutiny after Tennessee was stunned by Vanderbilt later that week.

Jones talked about wanting prospects with ''five-star hearts'' immediately after signing a 2017 class that wasn't ranked as high as his previous three recruiting classes.

Jones isn't shying away from slogans this year. Tennessee's team motto for 2017 is DAT, which stands for Details, Accountability, Toughness.

''If you do your research around the country, every football program has to have something they're going to hang their hat on, whether it's in times where you need perseverance, whether it's times you need to focus your football team,'' Jones said. ''It really just exemplifies what that current football team needs. Nothing has really changed with what we're doing.''

Tennessee's players say they don't mind all the slogans and catchphrases.

''With our generation, that's how we remember things,'' senior guard Jashon Robertson said. ''It's a certain way for us to remember a lot of core values in our program. The teams that listen to them are the ones that are usually pretty successful. They may seem a bit cheesy at times or a bit repetitive, but at the same time, there's something we get out of those slogans. Details, Accountability, Toughness. Those are huge aspects of a team that you need to have to be good.''

That slogan is appropriate for a team that has competition at just about every position, from quarterback to kicker.

The quarterback competition has garnered the most attention during preseason camp as junior Quinten Dormady and redshirt freshman Jarrett Guarantano compete for the right to replace Pittsburgh Steelers' fourth-round draft pick Joshua Dobbs, who started 35 games over the last four years. Tennessee's only other scholarship quarterback is true freshman Will McBride.

Guarantano missed Friday's practice because of a death in the family but quickly returned to campus and had ''probably the best practice he's had'' on Saturday night, according to Jones. The coaching staff isn't indicating when a starter might be named as Tennessee prepares for its Sept. 4 opener with Georgia Tech.

''I don't ever believe in setting timetables,'' Jones said. ''When it manifests and when it happens, it happens. I see both individuals competing exceptionally, exceptionally hard.''

Jones also indicated Sunday that incumbent kicker Aaron Medley is being pushed by freshman Brent Cimaglia. Medley has made 71.2 percent of his career field-goal attempts but is 9 of 20 from at least 40 yards out. His longest career field goal is only 47 yards.

''Aaron has really, really picked it up in camp,'' Jones said. ''I do think that's a byproduct of he's in a competitive battle. It's one of those positions that's still up in the air.''

Hali: Twitter rant ‘blown out of proportion,’ just want Chiefs to win

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali took to Facebook Live on Tuesday to clear up the criticisms he leveled at the team for his dwindling role and some of his teammates for their lack of commitment in a Twitter rant Saturday.

The 33-year-old said his comments were “blown out of proportion” and emphasized that his frustrations stem from a desire to win a championship before his time in the NFL ends.

“I’ve always wanted to win a championship, and I’ve always been a part of the equation,” said Hali. “What happened last year is I just wanted to win. I think anyone can bear with me and understand that the frustration of losing a game in the playoffs and barely playing. Being a competitor, you just want to win. That was basically what the rant was about.”

Related: Why Andy Reid is wrong about Hali publicly voicing complaints

Hali continued, saying he was “all in” with the Chiefs. And while the linebacker insisted his comments about teammates missing some of the offseason program wasn’t a shot at anyone in particular, he said Kansas City needs its leaders present as much as possible.

“I wasn’t calling out any players, I was just letting people know how I feel,” said Hali. “This is our team. The players play.”

He added: “Sometimes you need chemistry as a team, and you need your leaders around. And we have a young team. Sometimes you have to tell your leaders, or point fingers at your leaders and let them know that, ‘guys, you gotta be around. You gotta be around.’ You know, I’ve been here 12 years and I’m not getting younger.”

Hali was mostly a non-factor for the Chiefs in 2016, starting just two games – though he appeared in all 16 – and picking up 3.5 sacks.

The pass-rusher has two years left on his current deal. Barring an extension to lessen his 2018 cap number, 2017 could be Hali's last year with the Chiefs, and he's set on making it count.

"We just need to make sure everybody is on board and understand what's at stake here," said Hali. "It's real serious business when it comes to football and me. Some people don't take it that serious. I do."

Red Sox tie MLB strikeout record due to blown dropped 3rd strike call

On Wednesday, Chris Sale missed his chance to set his own record of nine consecutive starts with 10 or more strikeouts. So, the very next day, the Boston Red Sox decided to set their own strikeout record, in dubious fashion.

Mike Napoli became the 20th member of the Texas Rangers to strike out in Thursday’s game when closer Craig Kimbrel fanned the first baseman to close out the ninth inning and cement Boston’s 6-2 win. With it, the Red Sox tied the MLB record for the most strikeouts thrown by a single team in a nine-inning game, according to The Providence Journal’s Tim Britton.

But the feat didn’t come without some controversy.

In the first at-bat of the ninth inning, Rangers outfielder Nomar Mazara swung through Kimbrel’s off-speed pitch while it simultaneously hit him in the leg. Under MLB rules, Mazara should have immediately been ruled out, except the umpires deemed it a dropped third strike, allowing Mazara to reach first base.

By definition, Mazara became the 17th batter to strike out in the game before being followed up by Jonathan Lucroy, Rougned Odor, and Napoli, who were all struck out by Kimbrel.

The Red Sox, obviously preferring to finish out games quickly rather than chase records, challenged the call on the field. Though the play was reviewable, miscommunication between the umpires and the Replay Official led to it being ruled otherwise.

“The Replay Official and Replay Supervisor misinterpreted the call on the field and incorrectly deemed the play to be non-reviewable The call on the field – of no hit by pitch on a swinging strike three – is a reviewable play under the Replay Regulations,” the league said in a statement postgame.

According to Britton, it’s the sixth time in major-league history a team has struck out 20 batters in a nine-inning game. The Washington Nationals were the last to accomplish the feat when Max Scherzer did it all by himself, going the distance against the Detroit Tigers on May 11, 2016.

Red Sox starter Drew Pomeranz had the bulk of the punch outs on the evening with 11. Reliever Heath Hembree contributed with two, Robby Scott recorded one, and Matt Barnes added two before Kimbrel’s four-strikeout ninth inning.

LeBron laughs off blown dunk: ‘I’ve made more than I’ve missed’

LeBron James isn't ashamed of botching a dunk.

… even if it was a wide-open breakaway attempt, like the one in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Boston Celtics.

“I think I missed one in Boston before,” the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar told reporters following Tuesday’s 112-99 victory at The Q.

“I’ve missed a couple of dunks in my career. Think I’ve made more than I’ve missed, though, so the percentages are pretty good.”

He's correct. That misfired slam marked only his seventh this season, while he successfully threw down 160 dunks in 2016-17 entering the contest.

Rangers’ Dyson ‘pissed off’ after 3rd straight blown save

If Sam Dyson keeps pitching like this, he won’t be able to call himself the Texas Rangers‘ closer for much longer.

Dyson’s woeful start to 2017 continued on Sunday when he entered the game at Safeco Field armed with a 7-6 lead in the ninth inning, and couldn’t hold it yet again despite not allowing a ball to leave the infield. After the Seattle Mariners tied the game on Mitch Haniger‘s bases-loaded walk, Nelson Cruz put the Rangers to bed with an infield single that Elvis Andrus couldn’t corral, giving Seattle a much-needed 7-6 victory and a series sweep.

Batter Result
Jarrod Dyson Infield Single
Leonys Martin Bunt Single
Mike Freeman INT BB
Mitch Haniger BB; RBI
Robinson Cano Force Out 4-2
Nelson Cruz RBI Single

Since arriving in Texas via a July 2015 trade, Dyson has been mostly untouchable working out of the team’s back end of the bullpen. Last season, he emerged from a shaky relief corps to take over as Texas’ closer, and recorded a 2.43 ERA and 38 saves in the role for the AL West champion.

But 2017 has been an entirely different story. The 28-year-old has blown all three of his save opportunities this season, and took the loss on Opening Day when he allowed three runs after entering that game in a 5-5 tie. Dyson has allowed at least three earned runs in three of his six outings; his only two scoreless frames came in a pair of garbage-time outings.

“I’m borderline pissed off and angry. You’d think so after four outings like that,” he told reporters, according to Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “I’m confident in my stuff. I feel like I executed my stuff. I got the ball on the ground. I just didn’t get the job done.”

Sunday’s loss bumped Dyson’s ERA up to an even 27.00, while his WHIP now sits at 3.50. He’s also seen a small dip in velocity from last year, as his two-seam fastball – the pitch he uses most – is averaging 94.3 mph compared to 2016’s 95.1, according to Fangraphs.

Rangers manager Jeff Banister didn't remove Dyson from the closer's role after Sunday's game, but acknowledged that option is starting to gain a little more steam.

“We’ll have those discussions,” Banister told Wilson. “I’m not going to talk about my confidence in Sam. It’s obvious we need for Sam to be good. He’s an integral part of that bullpen. Without him in that bullpen and without Keone (Kela) here, it’s a situation where we need for Sam to rebound and do what he can do out of the bullpen.”

Although Dyson pitched the fateful ninth on Sunday, he wasn't the only Rangers reliever who let this game get away. With his team up 6-4 after five, Tony Barnette allowed a pair of runs in 1 1/3 innings of work, including a game-tying solo shot to Guillermo Heredia. Nomar Mazara's ninth-inning solo homer briefly gave Texas the lead again before Dyson entered.

Juelz Santana “Up In The Studio Gettin’ Blown Pt. 2,” Kap G “Freakin ‘N’ Geekin’” & More | Daily Visuals 3.29.17

It’s always good to see Juelz Santana shoot a video outside the confines of the lab even though it would’ve made a lot of sense this time around.

“Up In The Studio Gettin Blown Pt. 2” has Juelz Santana on a smoky set with his boys and some baseball bat wielding females who are probably wary of Juelz’s babymama, Kimbella.

Kap G is going back to his Latino roots and employing the old signature mariachi look topped off with some gold grills in his vibrant visuals to “Freakin ‘N’ Geekin.’”

Check out the rest of today’s visuals which include work from YFN Lucci featuring YFN Trae Pound, Problem, and more.

Rob Kardashian Net Worth: Has Dream’s Dad Blown All His Cash?!

For a while there, it looked like Rob Kardashian was on the verge of a comeback.

After months spent in hiding, indulging in substance abuse and compulsive overeating, Rob executed an impressive turnaround, landing himself a fiancee, a daughter, and a reality show in the process.

With the help of Blac Chyna Rob lost weight, rebuilt his business, and re-entered society.

Unfortunately, lasting change takes time, and looking back, we should’ve known Rob’s redemption would be short-lived, if only because it happened so quickly.

These days, Rob and Blac have broken up, and they’re said to be locked in an ugly custody battle over 4-month-old Dream Kardashian.

Not surprisingly, their reality series, Rob & Chyna has been canceled, because it’s hard to film a show about two people who refuse to be in the same room together.

Perhaps most troublingly, Rob’s mother froze his checking accounts after being notified that he had been spending money at an alarming rate.

Some sources close to the family took his excessive spending as a sign that Rob is back on drugs.

Others believe he’s merely funneling cash to Blac without his mother’s knowledge.

Either way, the situation seems to have raised an important question among fans:

Just how much money is Rob worth these days, anyway?

At the end of 2016, Rob’s net worth was estimated at around $ 6 million.

Of course, at the time, he had recently wrapped filming on the first (and only) season of Rob & Chyna, and his Arthur George collection of novelty socks was once again selling after years of lying dormant.

(For a long time the Rob’s business’ website was completely blank.)

Unfortunately, as far as future income goes, Rob’s prospects are looking pretty bleak.

Obviously his show is a thing of the past, sock sales are rumored to have slumped, and insiders say he’s back on the outs with several members of his family and thus, won’t be participating in much Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 13.

(Yes, KUWTK has really been on the air that long.)

All of this comes at a time when Rob will likely soon be shelling out major bucks for child support.

Blac Chyna is well-off, but her net worth is estimated to be less than half of Rob’s, and her career path is looking a treacherous, as well.

Sounds like now would be a good time for Rob to make nice with his more cash-savvy mother and sisters.
