Kimmy K And North West Go See Katy Perry

Kim Kardashian might have been making a statement Friday by attending Katy Perry’s concert, the same day Taylor Swift dropped her album album that features songs aiming at her fued with Kim and Kanye. Katy Perry and T-Swift have been known to dislike one another is the past too, so this could have been a plan thought up to show some subliminal hate…or maybe North just wanted to go.

Kim and North hit up Katy Perry’s show at Staples Center in Los Angeles, and Kim was sure to post videos singing along. The majority of her videos feature her mouthing all the words to Perry’s, “E.T.,” which features a verse from her hubby Kanye West.

Along with those sing-along videos, both Katy and Kim also posted pictures together backstage at the concert. Though in the video during the concert Northie was looking ready for bed, she looks to have brightened back up when visiting Katy for the photo-op.

Kanye wasn’t in attendance at the concert, which could be due to the fact that Friday was the 10th anniversary of his mother Donda West’s death.

WATCH: Kanye West Performs At Kid Cudi Concert [VIDEO]

Kanye West is almost back. During a Kid Cudi concert in Chicago last night (Nov. 4), Yeezy hit the stage for a guest performance.

During Cudi’s Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ Tour stop in the Chi, West came out to perform “Father Stretch my Hands, Pt 1” off his The Life Of Pablo album.

West has lately been seen in the studio with the likes of Cudi while his G.O.O.D. Music President Pusha T has confirmed that he’s in the lab.

Looks like Turbo Grafx 16 will drop before the end of the year, we hope?

Las Vegas Shooting: 50 Dead, 200 Wounded at Jason Aldean Concert

At least 50 people are dead and 200 more wounded after a gunman opened fire on a country music festival in Las Vegas Sunday night.

The assailant opened fire with a fully automatic weapon just as Jason Aldean was beginning his show at the Route 91 Harvest Festival.

Videos posted on social media show Aldean, one of the biggest names in the genre, singing as very rapid gunfire begins in the background.

He can be seen running from stage as he, and the thousands in the crowd who came to see him, realized the horror of what was happening.

No matter how often these tragedies occur (and it is far too often), one never goes into an event thinking it will happen then or there.

The terror is unimaginable.

In this case, it was also protracted. A gunman continued to rain bullets on the audience for up to two terrifying hours, reports indicate.

Victims ran to safety, according to NBC News, during momentary breaks in the violence, at which point the shooter presumably reloaded.

Many were trapped in the venue for what must have felt like an eternity, but police SWAT officers eventually found and killed the shooter.

He was found on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Casino, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said, and shot dead.

“Right now we believe it’s a solo act, a lone wolf attacker,” Lombardo told reporters. “We are pretty confident there is no longer a threat.”

The gunman has not yet been identified.

Aldean said he was safe in an Instagram post early Monday, sharing an image of the city and asking for prayers for the victims:

“Tonight has been beyond horrific. I still dont know what to say but wanted to let everyone know that Me and my Crew are safe.”

“My Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved tonight,” he wrote, clearly as stunned and traumatized as anyone else.

“It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night.”

Aldean’s wife Brittany Kerr posted her own message on Instagram, saying, “We are safe… our angels were definitely watching over us tonight.”

“No words for what happened,” she added.

“Just horrific. Praying for everyone.”

Witness accounts are what you would expect – unable to fully do justice to what happened as you read this, but terrifying nonetheless.

Country star Jake Owen was one of the witnesses, having just finished his set and was still on stage when the shooting started.

“I was crouched down behind a cop car,” he said.

“There was blood on people and you could see a couple of people in the streets that looked like they had been shot,” Owen added.

Ivetta Saldana told the Las Vegas Review-Journal, “It was was a horror show. People were standing around, then they hit the floor.”

Robyn Webb, who was at the concert along with her husband last night, told the newspaper, “It just kept coming. It was relentless.”

Authorities, meanwhile, are searching for a 62-year-old woman named Marylou Danly, whom they believe is the gunman’s roommate.

Police have searched a home in Mesquite, Nevada, 85 miles from Las Vegas, where it is believed the gunman lived with Danly.

She is considered a person of interest in the case.

UPDATE: Police have identified the gunman as Stephen Paddock, 64. More details to follow as the story develops …

Beyoncé & Jay-Z Headlining Hurricane Relief Concert In Brooklyn

The Carters are financially blessed but are still always willing to give back to the community. Case in point, Beyoncé and Jay-Z will be headlining a hurricane relief concert in Brooklyn in October.

It goes down at the Barclay’s Center on Tuesday, October 17.

US Weekly broke the news and details are still scarce beyond a bunch of Roc Nation artists being expected to appear.

Hova’s 4:44 Tour stop in Brooklyn is scheduled for Nov. 26 so he will be giving his home borough a double dose this fall. Vic Mensa was recently announced as said tour’s opening act.

Expect the hurricane relief concert to attract big names and raise big funds for victims of these recent natural disasters.

XXXTENTACION Cancels Free Concert Due To Overwhelming Attendance

When it comes to his concerts, XXXTENTACION just can’t seem to get a break. After catching a random fade at one of his performances earlier this summer and then canceling a Chicago show due to “unforeseen circumstances,” the controversial Florida rapper was forced to shut down his free concert this past weekend (September 2) in Tampa, FL when the local fire department deemed the venue a safety hazard.

The show was scheduled to take place at The Orpheum in Ybor City, Tampa, but when fans began to flood the 750-person-capacity venue, the show’s promoter, Dope Entertainment announced that the concert was canceled due to the amount of people who showed up.

After the announcement the fans in attendance began to chant “We want X!” but to no avail.

According to HipHopDX, X took to IG to address the situation before deleting the post.

“Tampa, my deepest apologies, I drove all the way down here, I drove four hours just to basically have the show canceled on me,” he said in a series of Instagram posts, according to the Tampa Bay Times. “Apparently because it was over capacity, there was at least 3,000 to 4,000 of you outside, and . . . the venue only could support 750. As far as the new free show, I’m going to try to and get a free show going, but that was the only venue that wanted to work with me, but you just bear with me, I’m going to try to work this out. For now the show is canceled, not due to my choice, it was just the venue, and the fire marshal said we could not do the show, so the show is canceled … my deepest apologies.”

At this point, we don’t know whether to chalk this up to bad luck or to take this a sign of a troubling trend for the “Look At Me” rapper.
