The Homeboy Drake Ghosted Bella Hadid

Bella Hadid is a model, and the Weeknd’s ex, whose DM’s are probably littered with thirst. Nevertheless, Drake ghosted her and now they reportedly don’t talk at all.

Reports US Weekly:

It’s over before it even started! Drake and Bella Hadid are “no longer talking” after sparking romance rumors when the rapper attended Hadid’s 21st birthday in New York City in October, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.

Celebrity Splits of 2017
“Things ended over text when he basically ghosted her,” the source tells Us of the rapper, who is currently touring out of the country.

Nothing too serious happened between the “One Dance” singer, 31, and the model. One source close to Drake insists the two are just friends, while other insiders have told Us they were casually dating.

Hey, maybe the homeboy wasn’t that into her.

Sorry, couldn’t resist.

Drake, His Dad & Nicole Murphy Star In New Virginia Black Whiskey Commercial

Earlier this year Drake and his “Realest Dude Ever” daddy dropped some funny commercials promoting Drake’s whiskey brand, Virginia Black.

Now, the father-son duo is back with a new Virgina Black spot and this time find themselves vying for the affections of one Nicole Murphy. And while there’s no evidence to suggest the stunning 49-year-old is a cougar, who can blame Drake for shooting his shot? We’ve witnessed Shannon Sharpe consistently shooting his shot daily on Undisputed and it paid off.

Check out the clip below and congratulations to Shannon Sharpe.

One Sip, and Wooh! @champagnepapi @nikimurphy @therealdennisg . Going live today.

Drake Gifted Custom Air Jordan 12s For 31st Birthday

Drake probably has the pick of the litter when it comes to custom footwear and fashion pieces from designers all over the world, and his latest haul should fill most sneakerheads with envy. For his 31st birthday last month, Dominic Chambrone’s design company The Shoe Surgeon spliced some material from Italian sports fashion brand Stone Island to create the OVO boss a pair of one-of-kind Air Jordan 12s.

Sole Collector writes:

The model was re-crafted using an actual jacket and denim from Stone Island. Ribbed cuffs from the jacket were attached to the collar for the sock-like fit and a Stone Island badge wraps around the heel. The company’s name is also etched along the midsole tab, where ‘Jumpman’ wording typically appears.

The outlet kindly reminded the hypebeasts out there that this will be an exclusive pair that will never be replicated.

Check out the collection via the Instagram post below. Don’t forget to swipe right.

8 Things We Learned From Drake In The Hollywood Reporter

The fact that Drake’s entertainment history is rooted in his role as paraplegic Jimmy Brooks on teen show Degrassi has been the stigma that’s kept Hip-Hop purists from fully giving Drake his rap props.

But that’s never bothered Drake and now he’s even adding to that chapter in his life by beginning to pen a new episode that will see him produce and possibly star in some feature films.

In an interview for The Hollywood Reporter the music superstar opened up about his upcoming projects, almost working with Harvey Weinstein, and what he has in store for his future wife.

Here are the 8 things we learned from Drake in The Hollywood Reporter.

Irv Gotti Calls Drake The “Eminem Of Today” [VIDEO]

Even though his focus is now television, Irv Gotti is still very passionate about music. The executive recently called Drake the Eminem of this generation.

On an upcoming episode of Drink Champs, Irv proclaimed his respect for Drake’s talent and detailed when the Toronto native will truly see his full potential. “If Drake was in my era, Drake would be selling 15 million to 20 million a clip, do you realize this?” he explained. “So right now, he sells three, four. If he was in my era, he’d be selling 15 to 20. Once he does something outside the music genre, he’s going to see how colossal he is.”

The Murder Inc. executive further waved the Champagne Papi flag with a comparison of epic Rap proportions. “Drizzy for sure is a genius. He’s, dare I say, the Eminem of our generation.” While there might be some truth to that statement we will take this all with a grain of salt. Judging by Irv’s slurred speech at the time of this interview it is safe to say Noreaga and DJ EFN probably got Irv completely washed off Ciroc Vodka thus the reach.

In October Gotti caught some heat when he said Eminem bodied Jay Z on “Renegade” on the same podcast appearance. He took to Instagram to clarify his statements saying “In my opinion. Again. In my opinion. Eminem was iller on RENEGADE. Now. In no way shape or form does that mean I do not LOVE my brother Jay Z.”

I did my guy @therealnoreaga Drink Champs. And it is coming on @revolttv this Thursday at 10pm. They have been running the promo of me saying Eminem bodied Jay on Renegade. I was drunk and high. And I am in no way saying that I didn’t say that. I did. In my opinion. Again. In my opinion. Eminem was iller on RENEGADE. Now. In no way shape or form does that mean I do not LOVE my brother Jay Z. OR. That I don’t feel Jay Z is by far the Best Rapper Alive. When you look at my brothers Body of Work. I think he has nobody even close to him. No Rapper can go Hit for Hit with him. No One. This is also. MY OPINION. So I just wanted to clarify. Cause I was a lil boisterous and over the top. Cause I was smoking weed. And drunk. And I’m an asshole. Lol. So I don’t want people thinking just cause I thought Eminem had better verses on Renegade. That I don’t love Hov. Stop it. It’s just a verse. It’s just a song. Not a whole body of work. And it’s just my opinion. Hov is easily Top Dog. Easily. Again. Look at his body of work. He is still one of the hottest rappers RIGHT NOW. LOL. And please check out the whole entire Interview. Cause if you watch the whole interview. I make it pretty obvious how I feel about my brothers. Jay Z. DMX. And of course Ja Rule. All mean something to me. I came up with those guys. I would not be who I am without those guys. They are and forever will by my MURDER INC. #brothers

Drake Didn’t Submit More Life For Grammy Awards Consideration

Drake is one of the game’s most successful and revered artists today and possibly of all-time, so it was surprising that the King of the North didn’t submit his last project More Life for consideration in the upcoming 2018 Grammy Awards.

According to the AP, an anonymous source close to the nomination process revealed that Drizzy refrained from submitting his critically acclaimed album for awards like Album of The Year, Rap Album of The Year. He even chose not to submit any songs for categories like Song of The Year, Record of The Year or Best Rap Song.

It’s a head-scratching move given the fact that More Life debuted at number 1 this past March and broke release day records when it was streamed more than 60 million times on Spotify alone. Apple Music saw more activity when the album was streamed 89 million times in the first 24 hours of its release.

Maybe Drake is just tired of winning? Is that possible?

Drake does have a trophy room packed to the brim with Grammy Awards, MTV Awards, BET Awards, Billboard Awards, Soul Train Awards, Emmy’s, Oscars, Super Bowls – the man doesn’t lose even in games he doesn’t play in! Maybe he’s just running out of room to store things in.

We’ll just have to wait and see if he explains why he held the album back from furthering establishing his dominance in the music game.

Watch: Drake predicts ECF for Raptors in surprise broadcast appearance

It was that kind of night for the Toronto Raptors as they smacked the Philadelphia 76ers by a score of 128-94.

Raptors global ambassador Drake made a surprise appearance on Saturday's broadcast with a plastic cup of pinot grigio in his hand and predicted an Eastern Conference finals appearance, among other things.

“It’s looking like a potential 30-piece right now,” Drake said with the Raptors firmly in control during the third quarter. “Norman Powell looks great, DeMar DeRozan is set to have the season of his life, Kyle Lowry is looking streamlined, tatted-up Lucas (Nogueira) has more face tats than any rapper I know.

"It's crazy. We're going to the Eastern Conference finals, boys. That's all I got to say."

The Raptors have qualified for the playoffs in four straight seasons and made the ECF in 2016, so it's certainly possible they could finish as a top-two team. But given what was in Drake's hand and his jovial mood, it may have been the wine talking.
