Air Force receiver Jalen Robinette’s graduation put on hold

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force Academy says wide receiver Jalen Robinette didn't graduate with his class after the cadet's qualifications were called into question.

The ceremony took place Wednesday, but Robinette’s graduation and commissioning were held up for further evaluation, the academy said in a statement. The academy said the decision didn’t involve criminal wrongdoing and was unrelated to Robinette’s pro football pursuits.

Robinette was the NCAA’s leader in yards per catch last season and was expected to be a mid-round selection in the recent NFL draft. But the Defense Department rescinded its 2016 policy allowing military service academy athletes to go straight to the pros upon graduation.

The change began with this year’s class and affected Robinette, who went undrafted after the policy reversal.

Fedora saves graduation day for North Carolina student with car ride

It's the college football offseason around the country, and if Larry Fedora was ever looking for some steady employment, he'd be a shoo-in as an Uber driver.

The North Carolina head coach saved the day over the weekend for graduating medical school student Scarlett Murphy, offering her a ride to campus when he noticed she was struggling on the walk with her heels and gown.

“There was no way she was going to make it all the way to campus in those high heels,” Fedora told Andrew Carter of the News Observer. “I’ve got three daughters and wife.”

Murphy's father immediately recognized Fedora and the pair took him up on his offer for a ride to campus. Not only did the coach complete the job, but he returned a couple times to ensure the entire family made the journey successfully.

DJ Khaled Surprises The Berkeley Graduation Class Of 2017

DJ Khaled is everywhere nowadays. His latest surprise appearance came during a ceremony for statistics graduates at the University of California, Berkeley when keynote speaker Steve Stoute introduced the celebrity everything man as a “gift” to the students in attendance.

Coming out to his signature tune “All I Do Is Win” Khaled burst onto the stage and tried to get the graduating class to turn up with him like they were in a club. Some did, but others were reluctant to join in for whatever reason. Big ups to the old man who was really into the performance and threw it up for the senior citizens of the class.

Naturally, Khaled ended the performance with a motivational speech in which he reminded everyone that he too was once doubted and had to bet on himself and is now on stage with “a generation of geniuses.” We’re surprised Donald Trump hasn’t hired Khaled for some daily pep talks.

Peep Khaled crashing the ceremony below.

Michael Geiger will forever be best known to Michigan State fans for his game-winning field goal against Ohio State and the subsequent windmill celebration he pulled off as he sprinted downfield away from his teammates.

The kicker wanted to let Spartans fans see the celebration one last time before he left the university for good, so he windmilled across the stage as he received his diploma at graduation.

In the interest of nostalgia, here's the original for your viewing pleasure:
