T-Pain Leaked Out His Album With Lil Wayne, T-Wayne

T-Pain gave the world the album they thought they wanted back in 2009 by leaking his collaborative project with Lil Wayne.

Eight years ago T-Pain and Lil Wayne were two of the most in-demand artists in Hip-Hop and pop music. Seemed like every time they uttered anything on a beat it wound up getting played on the radio 24/7. With both of them being at their pinnacle at the time, each wanted to push the boundaries of the creativity by trying new sounds. T-Pain wanted to prove that he could actually rap and Wayne wanted to show that he could actually “sing.” So when the two of them revealed that they had several songs together doing just that, people demanded an album from them.

The album did get made, but it never dropped. Now, in 2017 after both of them have seen their best days, T-Pain finally decided to put the project out for free on Soundcloud.

He hinted at it earlier this week on Twitter.

T-Pain followed up on his threats and dropped the project on Soundcloud.

The album sounds exactly like what you would expect from these two in 2009, which also means it sounds like a precursor to everything that is popular now. Sounds strange to say now, but in hindsight, T-Wayne might have been ahead of their time. Everything they are doing here with autotune and rap-singing, sounds like what the Young Thug’s of the world have latched on to and now depend on.

The project also reminds of a time where artists dared to have different types of production on the same project instead of trying to set a “vibe” for an entire album. Much of it is done by Tha Bizness who were known for their wide-range of sounds that included Jeezy’s “My President Is Black” and Young Money’s “Every Girl.” So, it becomes retroactively refreshing to hear beats that aren’t syrupy and trappy.

Check it out for yourself below.

Lil Wayne Makes Fan Ultimate Price For Jumping On Stage During His Set

One fan at the Rolling Loud Festival must not know what happens to fans who jump on stage during their favorite rapper’s sets.

Lil Wayne was on stage doing his job when a fan caught the holy ghost and decided to join him. Obviously, this unlucky soul must have missed the viral video of Wayne threatening to call his goon squad on fans who were caught throwing cups at him during a show in Idaho. Because unlike that incident, the goons actually got a chance to show their talents. Wayne didn’t even have to call them either, they just acted.

Word to the wise for rap fans. The best time to jump on stage is never.

Lil Wayne Makes An Appearance on Birdman’s Instagram

Lil Wayne and Birdman could be on their way to patching up their monetary differences… or not. Lil Wayne recently performed at the Rolling Loud Festival and afterwards cheesed for photos with Birdman’s children, Bryan Jr. and Bria. Birdman posted the pictures on Instagram with the caption “#4L #BLOODLOVE”.

While Lil Wayne never sugarcoats his feelings about Birdman, Birdman has made bold attempts to cover up what’s really going on with the lawsuit that Wayne served his former pops back in 2015. This initiated a war that resulted in Wayne’s tourbus being shot up, Wayne yelling “F* Cash Money” at almost all of his shows, drinks being thrown on Wayne that allegedly came from Birdman’s section and on and on.

Hopefully, they can settle their differences soon before someone gets hurt. In the meantime, even if the estranged father-son duo are still not on the best of terms, there’s hope in knowing they can share the same space #ForTheKids.

Martin Shkreli Previews A Lil Wayne And Kendrick Lamar Collab From Alleged Carter V Album

Surprise. “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli is still playing songs from Lil Wayne‘s unreleased Carter V album, even after he promised Cash Money not to anymore.

The latest leak is a song that Shkreli says is the best song on the album, “Mona Lisa” featuring Kendrick Lamar.

To prevent savvy internet types from ripping the song, Shkreli skipped through the track and randomly turned the volume up and down. But you can still tell that it’s Kendrick’s and Wayne’s voices rapping.

Shkreli previously assured Wayne‘s camp and label that he would not share any more songs online. Looks like he changed his mind.

Carter V still has a release date of “soon.”
